eduhub days 2011 — March 23/24, Switzerland

Wednesday, 16 February 2011 07:59 Written by Anthony F. Camilleri 0 Comments
SWITCH invites you to the eduhub days 2011, the national meeting of e-learning executives, support center leaders and members of the Swiss eLearning Community eduhub.
The theme of the meeting is “The Challenge of Open Ideas”: Should institutions of higher education opt for open or rather closed systems? What are the challenges and potentials of open systems for learners, lecturers and institutions? Should open systems be integrated in existing (closed) systems, supplement or replace these? What is the potential of social software in higher education? What are the advantages of Personal Learning Environments versus Virtual Learning Environments? Will Open Educational Resources become a relevant factor in the education market? What can we expect in the future?
Abel Caine from UNESCO will present the Open Educational Quality Initiative at this meeting.
